About us

     Erickson Fences is the evolution of two ideas and two generations.  "Erickson Fence" was founded in 1976 by two brothers, Jack and Glenn Erickson. Younger brother, Barry fenced summers, throughout high school and college.  By the early eighties, all three were on to other careers.  Then in early 2000, Barry returned to the fence business as GoVinylFence, with a banner across the top that read, “A Jack Erickson Enterprise Company.” Jack passed away in 1997 never having fenced again. The banner was simply a tip of the hat in his honor.

     GoVinylFence has been installing fences in the greater Boston area for over two decades solely by word of mouth, no advertising, no signage.  Success is having great customers who call back for multiple projects and refer us to their friends and relatives without reservation. We seek to install, to the best of our ability - any fence, of any material, in any style to which you entrust us.  

     Building on those principles and that tradition it’s time to put the Erickson back in fences.  While in high school and college, Cameron Erickson, has spent his summers installing fences and his school years studying business.  So comes Erickson Fences - A good name, a strong work ethic, and a new beginning.
